Strategy & Sales Director
About the job
The Strategy and Sales Director sets short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current sales programs. Directs and oversees an organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Has authority over all the sales managers, Pre-sales engineers, marketing executive and Sales Operations.
Capital Sales
Apply and develop regional commercial strategies and plans according to group business objectives.
Ensure sales alignment across the subsidiaries in Asia.
Identify new business opportunities/new sales channels/new market.
Understands competitor's offerings and how our client's products and services compare.
Grow the sales volume across markets and company portfolio.
Managing and growing the regional sales network to achieve the annual sales goals.
Collaborates with the appropriate functional teams to collect and summarize information to establish proposals.
Ensures contract terms and conditions are vetted and agreed upon by Finance and Legal.
Departments and the Customer before submitting the final quote.
Ensure project reviews for all sales projects to secure final approval from all departments (finance, engineering, project).
Delivers and reviews quotes with the Sales team and/or Customer, answers technical and commercial questions, as required.
Negotiate and close high-stake deals.
Direct sales on some markets if required.
Marketing and Customer Relation
Implement the global marketing strategy.
Participate to the global marketing team efforts: content creation, information sharing etc.
Organizes/Participates in regional and national machine exhibition shows.
Competences & Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or any related field.
Outstanding analytical skills and creative thinking.
Aggressive, determined and self-motivated.
Willing to travel extensively.
Fluent in English.
At least ten years of sales operation, business development & global team managing experience in B2B capital sales.
Experienced in highly technical sales.
Excellent listening, writing, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Experienced in remote team management.
Ability to develop strong and trusting relationships at all levels in an organization.
Demonstrated skills in the areas of lead generation, prospecting, and closing.
Ability to think strategically when viewing client challenges and objectives.
