Mechanical Technician
Seeking a skilled technician with strong mechanical abilities, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to assemble and test machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality performance.
Mission
To assemble and test machine based on engineering’s drawing and specification. Validate each assembly and carry out improvement process with other departments within the company.
Main Tasks
- Assembling of machine and sub assembly according to engineering’s drawing.
- Fill in appropriate checklist provided by supervisors on each assembly and testing phase.
- Report to supervisor in the event of roadblocks and work for solutions to solve the problem.
- Maintain machine and run diagnostic tests on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintain service records.
- Make photo and video reports for future reference.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and adhere to company’s safety regulations.
Information Technology
- Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
- CAD
Competences & Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualifications.
- At least 5 years related work experience.
- Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Able to perform minor modification operation where appropriate but not limited to drilling, grinding, metal cutting, milling and welding.
- Knowledge in using simple metrology tools such as caliper, micrometer, pliers, screwdrivers, wire stripper, grinder, drilling, metal cutter, welding and other tools deem necessary.
- Problem solver.
- A good team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to operate light machinery.
